The case of the back bridge

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Merge differential oil.
  2. Execute points 2 - 7 and 15 - 18 on the right and left wheels.
  3. Remember that in drawings in the given section the left wheel and the parts interfaced to it is shown.
  4. Remove a back brake drum. (Points 1 see - 5 Has undressed the Brake drum (Removal).
  5. Disconnect a brake tube (2) from the wheel cylinder. At the right cylinder of a wheel disconnect 2 brake tubes.

  1. At the car with system of antiblocking of brakes ABS, disconnect сцепку (2) gauges of speed of a wheel and remove the gauge of speed of a wheel (1) together with its wires (4).

  1. Remove nuts of a stopper of the bearing of a back wheel (1) from the case of the back bridge.
  1. Be convinced that there is a backlash (3) between a stopper of the bearing of a back wheel (1) and the lever Pads a lay brake (2). If the backlash is not present, ослабьте a cable counternut that there was a backlash (3).
  1. By means of the special tool (B) and (C), specified more low, pull out shaft. At the car with system of antiblocking of brakes ABS before to pull out a shaft, remove the gauge of speed of a wheel from the bridge case.

Operate cautiously that together with shaft not to extend a brake plate.


  1. At the car without system of antiblocking of brakes ABS, remove a support (1) valves of unloading of the pump of hydrosystem LSPV from the bridge case.
  1. Remove a brake plate from the case of the back bridge.
  2. Disconnect a brake tube (3) from a flexible hose (1) and remove the E-shaped ring (2) (the forward party).

  1. Remove plugs of a brake tube and a tube from the case of the bridge and disconnect a hose сапуна (1) from the case of the bridge (2).
  1. Before removal карданного a shaft put levelling labels (1) on a connecting flange and карданный a shaft, disconnect карданный a shaft (2) from differential (3) and remove карданный a shaft from transmission.
  1. For the further works prop up the case of the back bridge (1) jack (2) put under the case of the bridge (1).
  1. Remove nuts of the holder of differential (2) and the holder of differential (1).
  1. Loosen the a back fixing nut (2) top draughts (1), but do not remove a bolt.
  1. Loosen the a back fixing nut (4) bottom draughts (3), but do not remove a bolt.
  2. Remove a fixing bolt of lateral draught from outside the back bridge.
  1. Remove the bottom fixing bolt of the shock-absorber (1).
  1. Lower a jack until a cylindrical spring of a suspension bracket a little not ослабнет, and remove a back fixing bolt of the top, bottom and lateral draught.
  2. Gradually lower the case of the back bridge.
  1. Remove the bridge case.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish the removed parts upside-down, paying attention to the following:
  2. Place the case of the back bridge on a jack. Then establish back fixing bolts (left and right) the top bottom draught in a correct direction. Now establish nuts, but do not tighten them.

  1. Establish a cylindrical spring (3) (left and right) in a nest of a spring (2) cases of the bridge (1) and lift the case of the bridge (1).

At installation of a cylindrical spring combine the end of a spring with a step part (4) nests of a spring of the back bridge.

  1. Establish lateral draught on the case of the back bridge.
  2. Establish the bottom part of the shock-absorber with right and a left-hand side of the case of the bridge and establish bolts in a correct direction. Now establish nuts, but do not tighten them.

  1. Clear adjoining surfaces of the case of the bridge (1) and the holder of differential and put hermetic "And" from outside cases. “A”: hermetic 99000-31110.
  1. Establish the holder of differential on the case of the bridge and tighten nuts of the holder to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. The inhaling moment: nuts of the holder of back differential (a): 55 Н•м (5.5 kg th, 40.0 pounds-foots).
  1. At the car with system of antiblocking of brakes ABS, attach сцепку the gauge of speed of a wheel and establish connecting wires.
  1. Combine levelling labels (1), establish карданный a shaft and tighten nuts to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. The inhaling moment: bolts back карданного a shaft (b): 55 Н•м (5.5 kg th, 40.0 pounds-foots).
  1. Clean a jack from under the bridge case, attach a hose сапуна to the case of the bridge and reliably it attach.
  2. Attach brake tubes to the case of the bridge and reliably them attach. Position of plugs see in the Head the Brake highway/hose the brake cylinder.
  3. Attach a flexible brake hose to скобе on the case of the bridge and fix its E-shaped ring.
  4. Establish a support of the valve of unloading of the pump of hydrosystem (LSPV) on the case of the bridge and tighten a bolt of a support of the valve of unloading of the pump of hydrosystem (LSPV) to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling.
  1. Adjust the valve of unloading of the pump of hydrosystem (LSPV) as it is described in the Head the Brake highway/hose the brake cylinder, in Section Assemblage LSPV (a regulator of brake forces of a back axis if is). The inhaling moment: a bolt of support LSPV (c) — 23 Н•м (2.3 kg th, 17.0 pounds-foots).
  1. Connect a brake tube to a flexible brake hose and tighten развальцованную a nut of a brake tube to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. The inhaling moment: развальцованная a nut of a brake tube (d) — 16 Н•м (1.6 kg th, 11.5 pounds-foots).
  1. Clear adjoining surfaces of the case of the bridge (1) (right and left) and a brake plate and put hermetic “A”: hermetic 99000-31110.
  1. Put greasing on edge of an internal oil epiploon of the bridge. “A”: greasing 99000-25010.

  1. Put hermetic on an adjoining surface of a stopper of the bearing (1) with a brake plate. “B”: hermetic 99000-31110.

Before drawing of new hermetic remove the old.


  1. Establish the back bridge in the case of the back bridge and tighten nuts of a stopper of the bearing to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. The inhaling moment: a nut of a stopper of the bearing (e): 23 Н•м (2.3 kg th, 17.0 pounds-foots).

At installation of the back bridge be cautious not to damage edge of an oil epiploon in the bridge case.


  1. At the car with system of antiblocking of brakes ABS tighten a bolt of the gauge of speed of a wheel to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. The inhaling moment: a bolt of the gauge of speed of a wheel (f) — 21 Н•м (2.1 kg th, 15.5 pounds-foots).
  1. Connect brake tubes to wheel cylinders (right and left) and tighten развальцованные nuts of a brake tube to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. The inhaling moment: развальцованная a nut of a brake tube (g) — 16 Н•м (1.6 kg th, 11.5 pounds-foots).
  1. Establish a brake drum (right and left). See Has undressed the Brake drum in the Head the Lay and back brake more in detail.
  2. Tighten a drain stopper to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling and fill the differential case new, specified in the specification, oil. Servicing in the Head Back differential see.
  3. Tighten a stopper of an oil bulk aperture to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. The Back differential see the Head.
  4. Fill the tank with a brake liquid and pump over brake system (the Brake system see the Head).

  1. Establish a wheel and tighten nuts of a wheel to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. The inhaling moment: wheel nuts (h): 100 Н•м (10.0 kg th, 72.5 pounds-foots).
  1. On termination of all works press a pedal of a brake with loading approximately in 30 kg (66 pounds) 3-10 times to achieve an optimum backlash between a drum and колодкой.
  2. Adjust a cable of a lay brake. Check and adjustment of a lay brake in the Head Brake system see.
  3. Tighten bolts of a back console box.
  4. Lower the lift.
  1. Tighten nuts of the right and left bottom/top draught, a fixing nut of lateral draught and a nut of the shock-absorber to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling.
    • The inhaling moment:
      • The left bolt of lateral draught (a): 100 Н•м (10.0 kg th, 72.5 pounds-foots)
      • The bottom nut of the shock-absorber (b): 100 Н•м (10.0 kg th, 72.5 pounds-foots)
      • Back bolt of the bottom draught (c): 90 Н•м (9.0 kg th, 65.0 pounds-foots)
      • Back bolt of the top draught (d): 90 Н•м (9.0 kg th, 65.0 pounds-foots)

At a tightening of these nuts be convinced that the car is removed from the lift and is in not loaded condition.

  1. Check up, that in a brake drum was not прихватывания and there was a good braking.
  2. Inspect brakes (a foot brake and a lay brake).
  3. Check up each established part on presence of leak of oil.
