Survey [Type 70 A and 80 A]

Rotor

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Using an ohmmeter, check up electroconductivity between contact rings of a rotor. If there is no electroconductivity, replace a rotor. Standard resistance: nearby 2.9.

  1. Using an ohmmeter, check up, whether there is no electroconductivity between contact rings and a rotor. If there is an electroconductivity, replace a rotor.
  1. Check up contact rings, whether there is no roughness or a deposit. If they rough or are a deposit, replace a rotor.
  1. Using a calliper with нониусом, measure diameter of a contact ring.
    • Standard diameter: 14.2-14.4 mm (0.557 - 0.567 inches)
    • The minimum diameter: 12.8 mm (0.504 inches)
  1. If diameter less minimum, replace a rotor.

Статор

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Using an ohmmeter, check up electroconductivity of all contacts. If there is no electroconductivity, replace статор.
  1. Using an ohmmeter, check up, whether there is no electroconductivity between contacts статора and the core статора. If there is an electroconductivity, replace статор.

Brush and щеткодержатель

Check up each brush on deterioration, having measured its length, as shown. If the brush is worn out to a limit, replace a brush. Address to Section Replacement of brushes in this Chapter.
  • Length of an open part of a brush "a":
    • The standard: 10.5 mm (0.413 inches)
    • Limit: 4.5 mm (0.351 inches)

The rectifier

The positive rectifier

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Using an ohmmeter, connect one probe a tester to plug "B", and another – to each of rectifier plugs.
  2. Replace polarity probeов a tester and repeat item 1.
  3. Check up that one shows conductivity presence, and another – is not present.
  4. If there is an electroconductivity, replace the rectifier.

The negative rectifier

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Using an ohmmeter, connect one probe a tester to each of negative contacts, and another to each of rectifier plugs.
  2. Replace polarity probeов a tester and repeat item 1.
  3. Check up that one shows conductivity presence, and another – is not present.
  4. If there is an electroconductivity, replace the rectifier.

The bearing

  1. Check up that the drive and the bearing has no jags and are not worn out.
