The general description

The control system of an immobilizer created for protection of the car from thieves, consists of following components.

• The engine management module (ECM) / the module of management of transmission (PCM)
• The module of management of an immobilizer
• The ignition key (with the built in transmitter)
• The frame aerial

In the given system following works are made:

1. Each ignition key in memory has an own code (a transmitter code). At start of ignition the module of management of an immobilizer tries to read a transmitter code through the aerial established in assemblage of the terminator of turn of wheels.
2. The module of management of an immobilizer compares a transmitter code (item 1 see) to what is stored in memory, and checks their conformity.
3. When the fact of coincidence of codes as it is described above, the module of management of an immobilizer proves to be true and the module of management of the engine/module of management of transmission check conformity of the codes registered in them.
4. Only after acknowledgement of coincidence of codes of the module of management by the engine/module of management by an immobilizer the engine starts to be started. If codes (item 2 see) or codes of the module of management of the engine/immobilizer (item 3) do not coincide, the module of management of the engine/transmission stop work of injectors and spark plugs.
