Automatic transmission (4 A/T)

The general description

For the cars equipped with additional means of passive safety (a safety pillow):

  • Service of system of a pillow of safety and the interfaced systems should be carried out only by authorised dealer SUZUKI. Non-observance of safety measures can lead to inadvertent operation of system or result system in a non-working condition. In both cases serious traumas are possible.
  • Work on maintenance service should begin at least in 90 seconds after the ignition key is translated in position “LOCK” (BLOCKING) and "minus" the cable is disconnected from the battery. Otherwise the system can work from reserve energy of the module of gauges and diagnostics (КДМ).

The automatic transmission represents completely automatic type with three speeds plus raising transfer (O/D).

The hydrotransformer represents the three-element, single-step and diphasic type equipped электронно with the operated mechanism of blocking. The gear change device consists of 3 numbers of the planetary transfer, three couplings of the disk type, four brakes of disk type and three муфт a free wheeling. Transfer is switched by a choice of one of 6 positions (“P”, “R”, “N”, “D”, “2” and “L”) by means of the lever of the choice established on a floor. On the lever handle there is a switch of raising transfer (O/D) which allows to be switched upwards in a mode of raising transfer (except for 4 L) and to be switched downwards from a mode of raising transfer. Besides, by means of the switch of position of parking \neutral P/N located on a console box, it is possible to choose time of change of transfers from two modes, normal and on the move.
